In her book 1 2 3 Stress Free: The Journey to Peace Chambers reveals personal struggles, which act as the backdrop to straightforward methods on coping with stress. Financial failures, a broken heart, panic attacks and sleep disorders will undoubtedly convey to some readers that their own challenges may not be as unique as they believed. More importantly Chambers shows that even in the darkest moments, hope remains and there is room for triumph.
1 2 3 Stress Free is a succinct read. As a medical doctor, she refers to several cases where stress was the root cause of physical ailments among her patients. Chambers sees her own lessons as a part of her life’s work to help others. Therefore 1 2 3 Stress Free is a self-help book with practical tips that persons can draw upon again and again. She does not boast new methods or unique mantras. She does however strive to give persons a simple roadmap to coping with stress and being spiritually, mentally and physically well.
