On Thursday, September 29, Bookophilia will host the official book launch and signing of Here’s A Hundred Dollars, Buy Yourself A Life by Judith Falloon-Reid at 6p.m.
In her latest book, Falloon-Reid introduces us to Cecile, a fictional yet familiar protagonist in pursuit of happiness and success. Cecile’s journey reveals several challenges including a tumultuous love life and her unrelenting need to surpass her family’s expectations. Many people will recognize her as their co-worker, former lover or friend. Here’s A Hundred Dollars, Buy Yourself a Life wrenches at the reader’s emotions, urging one to laugh, cry, cheer or shout in frustration.
Judith Falloon-Reid is the author of two self-published books, Time & Seasons: A Layman’s Guide to Overcoming Tragedy and Full Circle: Reclaiming Your Faith. She has authored several Christian plays and monologues which have been performed to audiences in both South Florida and Jamaica including: Just Another Friday, The Gift, And on the Third Day, Through My Eyes, A Black Man Looks Back and I Was There.
