Earlier this year, health and nutrition expert Dr. Anthony Vendryes released a new book – An Ounce of Prevention: Especially for Women. As its title implies, the book offers health tips and guidelines (especially for women), and expands on the themes that were explored previously in an earlier book – An Ounce of Prevention: New and Natural Ways to Prevent Common Health Problems. It features nutrition tips and advice for women, including suggested natural cures and treatments for common health problems.
The extensive information offered by An Ounce of Prevention: Especially for Women is presented in a simple and easy-to-understand manner. For example, he simply lists an ailment, such as yeast infection, details the symptoms of it, then tells you how to treat it, in natural ways, using different kinds of food. Ultimately, his book is intended to provide the reader with a simple explanation of the cause of many problems along with safer and more natural interventions (other than taking prescription medications).
Finally, the book also covers the benefits and value of nuts, green tea, drinking lots of water, fish oils and dark-coloured berries, among other topics, and is a must-have for women who have even the slightest concern for their own health.
An Ounce of Prevention: Especially for Women is available online @Amazon.
